Margot Holmes
Margot believes that nonprofits hold an incredibly valuable place in our society. They are places for communities to work together to create something better around them. Margot deeply enjoys supporting organizations that are making a difference in the world and is looking forward to learning more about your powerful mission.
Margot has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University with a special concentration in child and adolescent development. She has a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University. Throughout her training she worked in positions to support families with various needs and she further developed her special interest in the early childhood field and human services in general.
Margot has held several leadership roles including as an Associate Director for the Signing Time Academy, Program Coordinator with Easterseals VT, and Executive Director of the Springfield Area Parent Child Center. She has served on several Boards of Directors including as Vice Chair for High Horses Therapeutic Riding Center in Sharon VT from 2016-2019.
Margot has expertise in grant writing and program development and planning. She has stepped into many positions that required considerable revamping of current systems and has led efforts to get a budget out of the red or a program back on track. She is a strategic thinker able to look at the big picture and can help you shape and develop your dream for your organization. Margot believes in building meaningful relationships with key team members and can help you convey the passion you have for your mission through written documents and visual tools.
Margot lives on a small farm with her family and pets in the town of Sharon, VT. She looks for joy in the little things in life and enjoys riding horses, hiking, and cooking for her family.
